Saturdays in Melbourne have always been about getting out.

If you're a sporty person, the cricket or the footy, or other sweaty activity.

If it's the markets, Preston, Queen VIC, Footscray, or further afield.

If you've got kids then you could be anywhere.

But Saturday, for a dedicated crew, has become these marches.

This diverse group of people who are passionate, caring, tired, energetic and unabated.

Although many, really, have nothing in common, they come together.
